I have added a new gallery - Gunboat up the Huangpu! 

Pics are of a scratch built gunboat and some crew.

the scratch build took about a day, and was mostly based on an old plastic kit of the Chinese ship 'Zhongshan' I found in a dusty (and it was dusty!) corner of a model shop near the Shanghai's Xiangyan Market

The crew are all the from the Pulp figures US line

I've added a new gallery - 'Chess sets'

these I actually sell for money, huzzah, but take so long to make..

 well, I have managed to post up a few things, a lot of bandwidth access issues from China these days, so probably no new pics for a while, the weekends seem better

I hope later to add some greens progress charts :)

maybe one day I can cast some up, actually --rumour -- the big bug may be cast in brass (some time this year!) :)

I have also had to paint some clothes for the grand opening of Shanghai Fashion festival tomorrow but I won't bore you with those :)
